Q: Will speaker presentations be available ahead of time?
A: Participants will receive access to speaker presentations to download or print approximately one week prior to the program start date. Instructions and a link to access the materials will be sent via email.
Q: Why aren’t all of the presentations available?
A: Speakers are given the option to opt in or out of sharing presentations with attendees and may choose not to share them for various reasons.
Q: How many hours of continuing education (CE) will be offered?
A: Hours available are listed on the invididual day agenda pages as well as here
Q: How long will it take to recieve CE credits after the conference?
A: UCHO will report all COPE qualified CE hours to the ARBO OE Tracker System within 30 days. UCHO will report all hours attended directly to the Florida CE Broker System and the Texas Optometry Board within 30 days.
Q: Is your meeting approved by the Council on Optometric Practitioners Education (COPE)?
A: We do submit to COPE for approval on all lectures that have CE credits.
Q. Are you sponsored by an accredited university or school of optometry?
A. Yes. The University of Houston sponsors our meeting and assists us in providing certificates to all meeting attendees.
Q: I am an International attendee and need proof of attendance, how do I get it?
A: International attendees needing proof of attendance should check in at the UHCO CE Monitoring Station for instructions on how to obtain on official certificate.
Q: I live in a state(s) that requires me to submit separate certification, how can you help?
A: UHCO will report all hours attended directly to the Florida CE Broker System and the Texas Optometry Board within 30 days. All other state participants are responsible for submitting hours to their state licensing board. UHCO will provide an attendance verification letter to each participant via email within 30 days.
Q: I never received a copy of my CE certificate from a previous meeting, where can I get it?
A: Attendance records remain on file for 5 years. To request an additional copy from this year’s program or previous programs, please contact UCHO at firstname.lastname@example.org or 713-743-1900

Q: Why do I need an OE Tracker card?
A: OE tracker cards are not required for our meeting but we highly suggest getting an OE tracker card and bringing it with you to any meeting where you will be gaining CE credits.
